After having a subscription for a year, I love this service. From the fact checking, bias ratings, and well rounded coverage of all news. I love seeing an Apple News and Ground News notification come up for the same thing, except the Apple News has a far more biased headline. If you want to stay well informed on any news, whether it be science, politics, or anything in between, this is the only source I could recommend.

This all was best in its first iteration at launch a few years ago. The recent updates have made it way too convoluted and unusable. Deleted.

I like the ratings but not intuitive to find articles

No political bias, no propaganda

Continually shows me as having a free account even though I paid so I’m not able to access any of the upgrade features. Have tried different login methods, removing and reinstalling, reaching out to customer service, etc. ready to count that money as a loss and give up on this one.

This is a nearly flawless news aggregator that seems to keep improving but there’s one poorly developed aspect: the share button. When someone tries to share a particular article, they aren’t trying to share an ambiguous ground news link with no information except the “groundnews” title box. Literally no one is going to click something that looks like it takes you directly to the App Store. Please develop some kind of informative preview for sharing content, even if it’s just the headline.

Even with the goal of presenting all sides of issues, this app disproportionately reports pro Trump news. Subscribers interested in balanced or even complete coverage should look elsewhere. There is a reason, I suspect, that the process to unsubscribe is completely hidden. Absolutely not worth the money or time

Impossible to unsubscribe

I like Ground News a lot. One of the most helpful ways of knowing whether you're in a bubble is to get outside information. Ground News shows you various takes across the spectrum and, as important, shows who funds the publication. Follow the money. Thanks, Ground News.
