  • It looks like some reviewers can't read?

I know that the act of reading is not considered important these days. For goodness sake people, the developer clearly states on his website that this program is not an HTML editor. You would have known that if you had bothered to click on the help section of the app. The developer cannot help you if you don't even bother to help yourself, by reading the instructions. This app does exactly what the website description states it will do. Nothing more, nothing less.
  • Utterly worthless

Reviewing free version, Version 5.1. After 7 years of development, it's astonishingly poor. It doesn't include basic editing tools like Edit>Select All or triple click to select a paragraph. it can't import existing HTML files. The UI is terribly cluttered; it looks like applications I remember from having to use Windows 3.11. There are probably other deficiencies, but after 10 minutes, I binned the thing.
  • Not true WYSIWYG

I decided to test this before buying the pro version. I know I need the Pro version for the database connectivity I was creating. However, where the fields, containers, and everything else were laid out in the editor, was not where they appeared on the actual website. I can't use a product that won't place the items where I put them.
  • Very sluggish

I had a few thousand characters of text entered and typing slow down ridiculously.
  • Works Well For Basics

I'm running MacOS 11.6.4 and this app does what I need it to do, and it does most of it very well. I spent about three hours learning the controls and getting used to the flow, but once that was out of the way the app itself is fine. I have one suggestion: Add support for Dark Mode. Some of the controls are difficult to see in Light Mode. Great job on this one!
  • Can't old existing HTML files

Like another reviewer, I get a "corrupt HTML" error when trying to open an existing, simple HTML file. So, the app is completely unusable for me.
  • Dosn't work!!

I'm looking for a replacement for BlueGriffon, which no longer works in Big Sur. This app, RocketCake, couldn't even open existing .html files - kept saying the files are corrupt. The files open easily in any of the other HTML editors I tried as well as in Safari and Chrome.
  • Can't Create More Than One Page

Buggy to say the least... The first thing I noticed when I started using this software is that it dosn't let you create more than one page on your site. If you create a page it will erase or mimic your index page... WORTHLESS!
  • Just no...

Buggy. Easy to navigate is only worth while if the final product is stable.
  • Not worth the price

Really. Even though itʼs free it doesnʼt work like it claims. I was quite disappointed because it seemed like it could do basic things on its tutorial pages and it doesnʼt. Wasted an hour of my time trying it out. Sad.
