  • Helpful but needs work

This cruise was my first use of the app, so I was expecting something more like the old printed daily Navigator but in electronic form. It does have most of those components, but not laid out as intuitively as I expected. One particular thing I kept looking for but couldn’t find was a directory of key ship phone numbers. We have a toddler and I wanted the number for the nursery but couldn’t find it. It was easy enough for me to call Youth Activities and get transferred, but having the nursery number easily available - or better yet, the ability to schedule through the app - would have been better.

It’s cool to be able to see and favorite shipboard activities and send messages but the UI has some limitations: The app will spontaneously refresh while you’re scrolling through a day’s calendar, causing you to go back to the top or to the home screen. it’s not easy to look at weather for a day in the future. Activities cannot be shared with members of your party. Periodically the messaging function would stop working, creating a backlog of time-sensitive messages (like your kid wants to be picked up from the Oceaneer’s Club) that all came through at once after the fact when it synced back up again.
  • HOTHS Wish cruise

Had a wonderful time this past weekend and enjoyed experiencing HOTHS. The tree is beautiful! I loved the food on my Very Merry Wish cruise in Nov 2024 but I think the food quality has gone done since then in the dining rooms. The lamp chops were really tiny in comparison to the ones from Nov, the filet at Marvel was completely without any seasoning at all, my absolute favorite food item (Arendelle scallops app) was completely different in taste and not as good as Nov, the onion dip at Arendelle I nearly licked the bowl in Nov and it just tasted like mayonnaise with some onion flakes sprinkled in this time. The food was the only disappointment as it’s such an important part of the trip for me. However, Palo was easily the best meal of my life and Antoine was the best server who absolutely belongs in Palo. He was simply wonderful! Had such a fun time at Hyperspace Lounge and Angie served us both times. She is so so sweet, and took the best care of us, and made our experience so memorable! That’s why we came back the next night. Really hoping the bubble drink makes an appearance on the Haunted mansion lounge menu on the Treasure. It’s so delicious! We really didn’t get to know our stateroom attendant, server and assistant server hardly at all. This was disappointing as that is not usually the case with Disney. Overall, I will absolutely be doing a Disney cruise again and it’s hard for me to even “complain” because it’s a wonderful experience. Just wanted to share the constructive feedback in case it helps refine the experience for others.

Several notification messages sent to me from the app only show up as a grey square in the app but some work correctly
  • Glitchy

The app is very convenient with all the information needed to make sure you can experience all the activities on the cruise. But it is so glitchy and the lag in the chat function makes it hard to keep up with other friends and family on the ship. Additionally, you can’t send photos in the app so that is also limiting.

Why can’t I book a cruise on this site? I can’t find another app for Disney Cruises that would allow me to book a cruise.
  • Good except for messaging

When it worked, it was lovely. The only issue with the app is that it was slightly glitchy. Messages would show previews before I opened the app, but they would not be there once I opened the chat inside the app. I noticed this was an issue for other guests as well. This was a problem when guest services was sending me important info via the chat and I couldn’t access it.

You have to search and investigate and call guest services. I couldn’t figure out how to add my underage son without calling guest services. I couldn’t change credit cards, which was a hassle and I was stressed about parking unaware there was a parking lot which was amazing! I found the parking port by chance. When I added travel info to confirm me and my son were elidgiblw to fly Out didn’t get confirmation until the day of or day before.
