    Is there a reason that when I swipe up to close the app the item I was viewing ends up in my cart? Pretty deceiving if you ask me.

    2024 : Just what no one asked for or needed; Rufus, the annoying AI that needs to needle you with a popup on every item you click on with answers to questions you never had. Clearing this takes a few taps of your time ON EACH ITEM before you can clear it & get back to your shopping. And there’s currently no way to disable it. Aggravating!! Also there is no way to turn off videos in the feed & this distracts you from spending money & is annoying. There needs to be options to disable these anti-features. 2020 : - UI overhaul is TERRIBLE. Moved essential options like cart etc to the bottom, where it's right in the way of everything you do. This is an inane insipid design. Don't "fix" what isn't broken & don't reinvent the wheel & make it square. I seriously don't understand how anyone thought this was a good idea. I'm back to using just the website in the browser which looks professional, clean, elegant & like an adult who cares about usability designed it. If that ever changes, I'll just cease business with them. I'm not going to be tortured to get things I don't even necessarily need. - Can no longer copy & paste text out of it, necessitating me going to the actual website. At which point, why even have an app that you surely pay a team of developers a probably $60k+ salary to develop? 2019 : - Can no longer refine search. Instead, a useless option to select your shipping location is there. A reinstall somehow fixed this. For now. This app is getting insufferable. Edit : Did it again on subsequent search. The app is *obsessed* with my shipping location at the expense of all else. Doesn't Amazon have a QA department for their software development?!? + Scrolling back through cart is extremely cumbersome. Having pages where the user could jump to a specific page of saved cart items would be extremely useful & make finding previously saved items easy enough that I actually spend my money. I don't do that when the poorly programmed app makes it work. Edit : This was partially addressed with a "Load more" button at the end of each page. Actual pages would be better still. I'll be generous & give a star back for that. Edit 9/11/2019 : They went back to the "continuous scrolling" cart style, regressing a useful feature that engendered user control, so star removed. If they keep this up they'll regress the entire app back to being completely unusable. - Trying to use filter for item condition requires arcane witchcraft in order to hit the various conditions possible. They are completely unresponsive & when I finally trigger them, if I don't end up giving up out of frustration, I don't know how exactly I did it. It just happens randomly &, mind you, I was a career computer programmer; I have absolutely no issues being tech savvy right down to assembly language. There's a problem when even programmers can't get the app to function correctly. It shouldn't be like this. - Works but is clunky to use with "modern" design functionality rather than just functional period. Very slow & unresponsive.

    I have been an Amazon member since 1998. I enjoy shopping on Amazon Prime. I did not sign up for your other subscription services and over the years I have contacted your company representatives repeatedly for privacy.

    Wel i did not get my order waiting 2weeks now and now i was offered apple + for 3 months and amazon tryed charging me 9.99 (3 months free) I WILL BE STOPING MY MEMBERSHIP AS OF THE FIRST. IM ON SSI I DONT HAVE MONEY TO GIVE AWAY

    There is a glitch. Every time I add something to my cart, it puts it in my saved later. This is a mistake. i’d like to report this to the system so this glitch can be patched and removed. it is very hard and it takes hours for me just to move the things from saved later to the cart just for it to go back to save later. This is extremely annoying and exhausting. The glitch has been going on for a while until now I have chosen to speak up about it. Please fix this and don’t remove anything from my cart. Thank you and Please fix this, overall the app is great, but please fix this. 5 star But since the glitch is pretty bad a 3.

    Go shop Temu. 70% or more of the items sold on Amazon are sold on TEMU for dirt cheap cuz they’re all “Made In China.” Amazon is price gouging and their app is the worst. This new update is SOOO glitchy that the last Amazon order placed last week shows an item TWICE in the order history even though it has the exact same tracking number and I only ordered a QUANTITY of ONE (1) ☝️!!!!!
