    This app and what little you can access is terrible You can read two sentences before you get a chance to subscribe, and I’m already a subscriber. I got a letter from someone who gave me several ways to fix my problem. NONE OF THEM WORKED

    This page is so jumpy & freeze-prone it’s absolutely unreadable. Don’t know if it’s all the embedded ads loading, or high traffic-who could possibly see that there’d be heavy traffic for Sunday NFL games on Sat night. This needs fixin, fast!

    My opinion is, this outlet is nothing but a fraudulent billing racket disguised as a sports outlet. They rope you in with super small rates, and then rebill you at $80, out of the blue. No mention of that, of course. Oh I’m sure it’s buried in their 9,000 page terms of service, somewhere (good luck finding that), but it’s not clearly and reasonably stated ANYWHERE when you signup for the super small rate. Then try to get through to them…lol. Good luck. From what I hear they don’t give refunds under any circumstances. I disputed it with my credit card company and they denied it and said The Athletic provided paperwork that states it’s valid. Of course they did. Any business can create a piece of paper out of the blue. But I, MYSELF, never saw that from The Athletic. (I won’t be using Discover Card anymore, by the way. Thanks for nothing.). Way to protect your clients! STAY AWAY from The Athletic!!!!!!

    I would given 5 stars if when I click a article in twitter the app would open instead of message telling me I am not a subscriber. When I am logged in I choose an article and it says “subscriber content only” while I am a subscriber and logged in. Very annoying.

    The black scroll up button should be at the top of the screen and left or center. Most people are right handed ising right thumb to scroll down and location of button causes accidental scroll up. When you shut down app upon reopen shouldn’t go to last thing you read imo.
